From navigating the process of obtaining an initial evaluation and determining eligibility for placement and services, to issues regarding transition to adulthood, we handle any and all matters related to the provision of a free and appropriate public education to children with disabilities.

STUDENT ISSUES AND DISCIPLINE

We provide professional representation at expulsion hearings before a school board, appeals of expulsion proceedings to a county board, and/or advice regarding negotiated expulsions and your student's rights. We also can assist with uniform complaints, objections to the contents of student records, athletic eligibility issues, and student attendance review board actions.

CIVIL RIGHTS

We handle disputes regarding the provision of reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as rights guaranteed under the United States Constitution, including first amendment and equal protection issues.
